Estimated Households (Census ACS)
A household consists of all the people who occupy a housing unit. A person living alone in a housing unit, or a group of unrelated people sharing a housing unit such as partners or roomers, is also counted as a household

Census questions about households provide important statistics to help plan assistance programs. In combination with household income and housing costs, this data helps us understand whether housing is affordable and meets the needs of residents.
